A little more than one month after a minor kitchen fire, the Acworth Zaxby’s location is back in business. The fire occurred on Feb. 16. Not only has the location at 3511 Baker Rd. reopened, it has a new look. "Turning adversity into opportunity, this location now has a remodeled dining room with a cleaner, fresher design and décor," spokeswoman Alexa Orndoff said. In addition to the remodeled dining room, the beverage bar was redesigned and the exterior received new paint and light fixtures.

Zaxby's is warning customers of a potential security breach that may have resulted in unauthorized access to credit and debit card information. Certain licensed locations have identified suspicious files on their system which "have been identified by credit card processing companies as common points of purchase for some fraudulent activity." A North Cobb Zaxby's at 5230 Stilesboro Rd. NW is among the affected locations.
