"The challenge of leadership is to be strong, but not rude; be kind, but not weak; be bold, but not bully; be thoughtful, but not lazy; be humble, but not timid; be proud, but not arrogant; have humor, but without folly.” - Jim Rohn Before being elected to your Kennesaw City Council in June of 2009 I spent two years serving on the Kennesaw Development Authority which gave me the opportunity to become deeply involved in our community. My last year on the KDA I was elected Chairman. Most recent involvements: I have been actively involved with the Kennesaw Business Association since 2000, I am currently serving as the Membership Chairman and in the past served on the Education Committee. I was selected for the Cobb County Chamber's Leadership Cobb, Class of 2004. I remained active with their Memories committee 2004-2007 and co-chaired the committee from 2007 through 2010.I am currently serving on the Leadership Cobb Health Committee. In 2007 I was voted Chair of the Year for Leadership Cobb. I recieved the GCC's Chiropractor of the Year Award in 2009. I served as the Philosophy Chairman and am currently a Congressional District Leader for the Georgia Council of Chiropractic. I also enjoy being the team Chiropractor for the Atlanta Beat and your post one city council member. As we traverse the next few years it is important to get back to the basics. I believe the most important thing we as a community can do is look at three important values: Human values, we need to encourage people to get involved who have never been involved before. Property Values, diligently focus on revitalization and redevelopment of our older neighborhoods and our downtown. Personal Values, treating our fellow citizens with courtesy, dignity and respect, regardless of differing opinions.
