Doolittle is an avid tennis player, part-time coach amd tennis team organizer. He has served on boards for Henderson Mill Elementary School, St. Bedes Episcopal Church and Leslie Beach Swim and Tennis Club. Tom has also organized a short history walking tour of the original Greenville Henderson property assemblage, including his former mill location--all within a few hundred yards of St. Bede's church. Doolittle is convinced that the Northlake business center will one day be a viable healthy center of a larger "Northlake" jurisdiction, energized by attraction to a commuter rail station from riders from small parts of five zip codes; 30345, 30341, 30340, 30033 and 30084. New affiliation with Northlake "Station" area will be enhanced by the trend toward walkable town living.
