Agreed Kinda. I think if even just one roach is found, it should be an 11 point violation so it goes down to at least a B. Had this infestation been the only violation and it was the first time, they still could have had an A.

ReplyI've had this discussion with my college advisor. He says not everybody should go to college. I say everyone should have the OPPORTUNITY to go-- have the education to prepare them and the money to help pay for it. But no, not everyone needs to go to college. We need people with technical skills who can fix cars, do hair, build houses and more for the doctors, teachers and lawyers.

ReplyI think a lot of people are afraid to speak out on this topic. I think maybe other options should be looked at first. The people who have one drink aren't the biggest problem.

ReplyI worked for a cable company for years and got all 500+ channels free. But now I just have good ole rabbit ears (ok, a black box actually). Like Lilliane, I do miss the History Channel and Discovery and things like that. I watch a lot of PBS and there are a lot of digital channels over the air. I get to watch I Love Lucy and Twilight Zone marathons on Sundays! I watch online sometimes, but prefer to sit on the couch and click a button and have something pop up right away rather than going to Hulu or Netflix, browsing and waiting for my show or movie to load. But yes, I think TV as we know it is over with. TVs will just become 60" computer monitors in the next decade or so.

ReplyI used to work in TV news and rule #1 is if you're anywhere NEAR a microphone, assume it's on. But Clemente also said he did not yet have an earpiece (it takes a few weeks to mold it to your ear) and his co-anchor left hers in the car. There was no floor director, so they had no clue they were on. His co-anchor happened to be looking up and saw the red light on the camera. But I've been in a similar situation where the earpiece system didn't work for some reason. I think he should be given a second chance. But then again, he's now famous, so he may get hired by a bigger market.

ReplyI rinsed off my car today. Grabbed the hose and tried to wash away the pollen. Trying to cut down on how much pollen I'd touch and would get in my air filter. Alas, by the time I finished my errands, my car was once again yellow!

I believe they can re-open after these violations have been addressed to the inspector's approval. A follow-up will be conducted within 10 days and we will let you know how they do.
