The city of Acworth along the Acworth Business Association are set Friday, Aug. 2, to hold a free "Back to School Family Movie Night." Guests will watch The Croods on the football fields at the Acworth Sports Complex at 4000 S. Main St.
This new release is a prehistoric comedy adventure that follows the world's first family as they embark on a journey of a lifetime when the cave that has always shielded them from danger is destroyed. Traveling across a spectacular landscape, the Croods discover an incredible new world filled with fantastic creatures—and their outlook is changed forever.
Gates open at 7 p.m. and the movie begins at dark. Bring lawn chairs, a blanket and/or a cooler. Concessions alsowill be available.
