Here are the things you need to know before starting the day on Aug. 22

3. Happening. Love the Lake Festival and Parade. Parade: The will be hosting the Love the Lake Festival Parade on
Saturday, Sep. 3 at 10 a.m. on Main Street in downtown Acworth, which kicks of the weekend festivities.

Festival: The Acworth Business Association and the City of Acworth will be hosting an Arts and Crafts Festival on Labor Day Weekend. The festival will have arts and crafts, food, entertainment, and a kids zone with inflatables. The festival will be held at Lake Acworth Beach at and starts on Saturday, Sep. 3 and will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and continue on Sunday, Sep. 4, from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
