5 Things: Red Cross Blood Drive
Here are the things you need to know before starting the day on Aug. 23.

2. In case you missed it. : Thousands flocked to the Love the Lake Concert Series at Cauble Park this past weekend, which also featured the rescheduled July 4th fireworks.
3. Happening. The is hosting a Red Cross Blood Drive this Friday, Aug. 26, from noon to 5 p.m. at the Acworth Beach House located in . Most healthy people who are at least 17 years old and weigh 110 pounds or more are eligible to donate every 56 days. All current eligible and new donors are strongly urged to schedule an appointment to donate blood, although walk-ins are welcome.
