Video: Allatoona High Remembers 9/11
A memorial service was held at Allatoona High School in Acworth to remember those who died Sept. 11, 2001.
held a memorial ceremony Friday to mark the 10th anniversary of Patriot Day and the 9/11 attacks.
Parents and friends of the Allatoona family, as well as all fire and rescue, , emergency medical personnel, and current and former military were invited to join the ceremony as the school remembers those who lost their lives on Sept. 11, 2001.
Guest Speaker William Cominos is a former Chief of the Freeport Fire Department in Long Island, NY, and one of the first responders of the attacks in New York City.
