Carmike Bomb Threat Suspect ID'd

The man  last Friday has been identified, the spokesman for the Columbus movie chain said in a one-sentence statement.

"The FBI has identified the person responsible for the bomb threats that occurred last Friday, August 17, 2012 involving Carmike Cinemas and believes he is no longer a threat," Carmike spokesman Terrell Mayton said Thursday.

Report: Police Raid Area Food Trucks

Atlanta Police raided the food truck event in Virginia-Highland on Wednesday and issued citations for improper permits.

Five trucks were cited, according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution.

Florida Murder Suspect Arrested in Lithonia

The suspect in a deadly shooting in Largo, Florida this past spring has been arrested in Lithonia, authorities said Thursday.

Pinellas County Sheriff Bob Gualtieri announced Eddie Jonathan Todd Walker, 24, was arrested around 11 a.m. Thursday (Aug. 23) on a first-degree murder charge by the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force in Lithonia.
